3. Customer-Supplied Digital Files

Customer-supplied digital files are collected and used only as reasonably necessary to quote, review, print, fulfill and support the customer’s order.

Submitting a file does not transfer ownership of the customer’s design or intellectual property to 3D Wax Printing Service.

Customer-supplied files are treated as confidential. We will not use a customer’s submitted file for samples, demonstrations, marketing, photography, training, testing or production for another customer without the customer’s express permission.

We normally retain submitted files for up to three months after completion of an order so that we can address reprints and other order-related matters.

Files belonging to ongoing or returning customers may be retained longer to facilitate future orders.

Customers may request deletion of submitted files. Files may be retained until the applicable order has been delivered and any outstanding production, payment, reprint, refund, dispute or order-related matter has been resolved. Records may also be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.

Customers requiring a Non-Disclosure Agreement should contact us before submitting confidential files. NDAs may be accommodated upon request and mutual written agreement.

4. Shopify

Our online store is hosted and operated using Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when customers visit or make purchases through our store.

Because Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify may also process information from customer interactions with our store, other Shopify merchants and Shopify to provide enhanced services. These services may include fraud prevention, improved store performance, personalization, analytics and advertising-related services.

Information shared with Shopify may be processed in countries other than the country where the customer resides.

For more information about Shopify’s processing practices and privacy rights, please review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.

Customers may also use the Shopify Privacy Portal to exercise certain rights directly with Shopify.

5. Filaquote and Uploaded Files

We use Filaquote to provide file uploading, three-dimensional model preview, quotation and order-workflow functionality.

When a customer uses Filaquote, the service may process information including uploaded 3D files, file measurements and geometry, selected materials and quantities, contact information, quote information, device information, approximate location and associated Shopify order information.

Uploaded files may be stored and processed using Filaquote’s service providers and technical infrastructure for the purpose of generating quotes and supporting orders.

For more information, please review Filaquote’s Privacy Policy.

6. Payments

Payments made through our website are processed through Shopify and the payment methods made available during checkout.

Payment providers process payment information according to their own privacy and security practices. 3D Wax Printing Service does not receive or retain complete payment-card details when payment information is processed directly by the applicable payment provider.

7. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising and Similar Technologies

Our website and service providers, including Shopify, may use cookies, pixels, application programming interfaces and similar technologies for:

  • Website performance and analytics;

  • Personalization;

  • Measuring marketing and advertising performance; and

  • Advertising or marketing, where enabled and permitted.

Meta advertising and analytics

Our Shopify store is connected to Facebook and Instagram by Meta. Through this connection, we use the Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API and related Meta advertising technologies to understand how visitors use our website, measure the effectiveness of our marketing and support potential advertising campaigns.

Depending on a visitor’s interactions with our website and applicable privacy or consent choices, Shopify and Meta may collect or receive information such as:

  • Pages and products viewed;
  • Searches performed;
  • Items added to or removed from a shopping cart;
  • Checkout and purchase activity;
  • Device, browser, cookie and similar technical information;
  • Identifiers associated with website or advertising interactions; and
  • Customer information provided during an order or checkout, such as name, email address, telephone number and location.

This information may be used to measure website activity and advertising performance, attribute orders or other actions to advertising, develop or improve advertising audiences and show advertising that may be more relevant to users of Facebook, Instagram and other Meta services.

Meta processes information according to its own privacy practices and may combine information received from our website with information associated with its services. For more information, please review Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Where required, non-essential advertising and analytics technologies are used according to the choices made through our website’s cookie banner or privacy-preference tools. Customers may change their available choices through those tools or through our Your Privacy Choices page.

Customers may also manage certain advertising and Off-Meta Activity settings through their Facebook or Instagram accounts and may control certain cookies through their browser settings. Browser privacy tools or advertising blockers may provide additional controls, although they may not prevent information transmitted through permitted server-based technologies.

Disabling essential cookies may affect website or checkout functionality.

We do not sell customer-supplied digital files or designs.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. However, some uses of information through Shopify’s enhanced services may be considered “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under certain U.S. state privacy laws.

When deletion is requested and permitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete applicable files and request deletion by relevant service providers where appropriate. Some information may remain temporarily in secure backups or be retained where required by law.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside, applicable privacy laws may provide rights to:

  • Request access to personal information;
  • Request correction of inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of certain information;
  • Obtain a copy of certain information;
